Whether you’re slicing through the water on a Jet Ski, enjoying the view from your canoe, reeling in the catch of the day or boating with your buddies, there are dozens of watercraft rental options to choose from when planning your lively day on the lake. To ensure you have time to do them all, we recommend booking a stay at one of our local campgrounds to keep the good times rolling.
Happy Campers
All the happiest campers know that waterfront fun isn’t the only thing offered in Santee Cooper Country. Camping in the lowcountry during the summer is an absolute blast! It’s like stepping into a nature-lover’s paradise that you’ll never want to leave.
Perhaps stop by Hills Landing in Cross, South Carolina to lounge by the water, set up camp and even grab a bite to eat. Visitors can also park it at Palmetto Shores RV Resort and Lighthouse Pointe Family RV Park in Clarendon County for a family-friendly opportunity to unplug and unwind. Besides, we all need a digital detox from time to time!
Step away from busy city life and laze in lowcountry. If you’re looking for more opportunities to soak up the beautiful sights, a visit to Sumter County or Calhoun County could be just the thing! Guests will have the chance to experience a diverse array of wildlife, rustic cabins and endless miles of hiking and biking paths to explore.
With a multitude of campgrounds to choose from and sights to be seen, there’s a place for each member of your crew to stargaze, roast marshmallows and relish in quality time together! After all, isn’t that what summer is all about?
